Tasted June 15, 2007 at the winery. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Volnay like nose with plenty of floral with also some cherries and roasted coffee notes underpinned with a fairly significant aroma of sulphur. Flavors of red cherries and red berries. Light acidity, light tannins and light to medium body. Hold a year or two to see if it resolves better in bottle. 13.5% alcohol. (87 pts.)
