Tasted June 15, 2007 at the winery. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose reminded me slightly of an Anderson Valley Pinot Noir with some floral components, black cherries and some brown spices towards the finish. Flavors of Bing cherries and licorice. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins and medium body. Hold a year or two. 13.9% alcohol. (90 pts.)
