$16, a very clear light color with barely a hint of amber. A very light nose with some apple and floral hints, but not a very aromatic pinot gris. Reasonably crisp acidity with tastes of light apple and mild pear, this wine was a pleasant accompaniment to a cold shrimp platter. Finish was relatively short. 84.

I prefer my pinot gris a little more aggressive in style with a more floral bouquet and better defined taste. I do no t recommend the purchase of this wine since I feel it is quite ordinary.

Sigh, another insipid Pinot Gris. There is just too much of this stuff around.

I tried this about 6 months ago and had similar notes. Didn't bother posting because I didn't think it would see national distribution. Sorry!

Sounds like one to avoid. Try the Elk Cove or king estate Reserve if you find them.
