2004 Sineann Schindler Pinot Noir - Willamette Valley, Oregon
Decanted 2 ½ hr’s. Light and soft floral nose of cherries with just a touch of earth. Concentrated dark cherry and blackberry flavors with clove and herbs expanding across the palate in a tightly wound package with just a faint hint of a green quality evident from the young vines. Balanced with good acidity and fine to silky tannins, but needs more depth and a little more length on the finish. The richness of the fruit shows great promise for this vineyard, still in its infancy. S89 8/24/2006
