| - 2003 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (7/19/2006)
Tasted together with Tom Mortimer, the Le Cadeau proprietor. Surprisingly fresh for hot '03 vintage, the wine has nice touch of acidity which in my book suggests longevity and worth cellaring. A keeper. (92 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker | | | http://NothingControversial.com |

| | Sounds like a nice visit, in a beautiful area with good people and a fun wine. I'm glad that your recent experiences with Le Cadeau have been better than your first impression -- this is a wine that I enjoy, and it's a bonus that it's run by good folks, too. | | | Cheers, y'all | |

| | Is this a new winery? I love Oregon Pinot Noirs and haven't heard of this one. | | | |

| TryLe Cadeau's website, or the blog over onWinoDepot.
This is our "house Pinot" (I've gone through my case of 2002, and am down to 9 bottles of '03), partly because we love the wine and partly because Tom Mortimer, the man behind the label, is a heck of a nice guy that some of us have known since well before he got into the wine biz. | | | Cheers, y'all

95 points from Wine Enthusiast, 88 from Spectator.
I had this a on Saturday night and it was great, loads of fruit and spice with a great finish. If you like this the 2004 Diversite will be a similiar wine. If you preferred the 2002, the 2004 Rocheux will be more to your liking. There is a 3rd bottle I didn't have a chance to try that will fall in between these 2.

| | Chilly - thanks for the thoughts on the new vintage. I preferred the 02 to the 03 (red fruit vs. dark fruit) so it's good to know. | | | |
