| Black Cherry with plums, lavender, and spice and some beet and oak in the background. Relatively forward and moderate/good acidity for an Oregon pinot. Silky texture and a subtle palate. Would have been nice if this had just a bit more stuffing, but didn't think this distracted from the wine really. This reminded me a bit of a Belle Pente Wahle Vineyard Pinot.
Overall, this was a very good wine, from a producer I'd never heard of. Thanks to winegeek for suggesting it! | | Ladd Cellars | |
