2001 Fiddlehead Cellars Pinot Noir Reserve Oldsville[/url] - USA, Oregon, Yamhill County, Willamette Valley (11/18/2005)
A very interesting wine with a nose and palate simply screaming forest floor and earth. Medium body, moderate finish, dark, black fruits. I suspect this is about as far as you can get from a Calif. pinot noir in North America. Quite nice, and guaranteed to start a conversation. (90 pts.)
