Very well made wine but without enough nooks and crannies. Tannins still a problem for the amount of fruit. Dark cherry with a little plum and maybe a tiny bit of American oak? Although I rated it only an 87, the wine paired well with everything from gravlax to crab cakes to an oyster poor boy.
