| - 2003 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Guadalupe - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (4/24/2005)
Decanted for 1/2 an hour prior to drinking. Oak, smoked bacon, sweet and sugary, very fruit forward. At this point, it tastes much more like a Syrah than it does a pinot. Another 1/2 hour later it's become a little hot, with the syrah and sugar components moving in the back and the oak softening considerably. After 90+ mins this is pure pinot and very very good. Highly recommended, and just as highly enjoyed! (92 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker! | | |
