A dark transparent reddish purple, this wine gives off aromas of sour wild cherry, some unusual leather, and a tip of vanilla. Served a little chillier than usual (50 degrees), there is a glycerine like smoothness. The cherry is sweeter than the bouquet and there is the appearance of a light strawberry taste. This wine is fairly typical of the Oregon Pinots of this vintage in that it has depth, color, flavor, and a nice very lightly tannic finish. A nice effort. Drink now, but I think this one will hold well to 2008. 90 points and maybe more if held longer.

I've been eyeing this wine and just couldn't bite. I can pick up a 375 for $20, which I will do and see if further purchases are warranted.
