Expansive nose of raspberries and cherries. Concentrated, racy raspberries, cherries, and cherry pie on the palate. No discernable tannins, terrific balance and a great finish. This was the group's favorite of the five Pinots we tried (four rated 90 points or better by the WS) and my WOTN. 92 points.

I had a bottle of this tonight as part of my search for the wine to take to Davidn's big taste-off.

Deep garnet color. Blackberries and racy raspberries in the nose. On the palate, the wine explodes with intense raspberries, blackberries, and cherries. The flavors are ripe, but a strong streak of acid holds everything together through the very long blackberry finish. Good now, but will be better in a few years. 92 points.

This is not the best Pinot in my cellar, but it is more likely to win a blind tasting because of the intense flavors, in your face flavors. I think I've found the wine to bring to Davidn's tasting.
