| I bought three bottles last year as an experiment in new world riesling aging. This was recommended to me someone (I forget who) as a decent dry new world riesling.
Alcohol is 12.6% I think the price was in the $15 range.
This is pretty dry, perhaps too dry as the fruit has a bit of puckering tartness on the finish. Good weight though, has that kind of thick oily mouth feel (I think that is glycerin?). No off character, but overall not real memorable either. This is probably an 84 point wine if I had to give a score. Went well with home made french onion soup. | | | |
