This wine comes from a select barrel from the Claudia's Choice vineyard. A friend and I bought this at auction last November. This bottle came from his case. Opened, but not decanted an hour before dinner, then decanted at dinner.

Lighter garnet color. Racy and aromatic raspberries and cherries, with some spice notes as well in the nose. Very concentrated, but elegant cherries and raspberries on the palate, with earth and spice notes as well. Great body and mouthfeel, beautiful and long finish. Great now, but needs another couple of years to integrate. 93 points now, and I think it has the potential to be a 95 point wine.
