Medium garnet color, spice and blackberry nose once the sulphur blew off. Concentrated spices, cherries and blackberries on the palate, nice weight, good balance, very nice finish. Drinking very nicely right now. 91 points.

We drank this with the 1996 Clerget Chambolle Musigny and the 1998 Shea. This and the Clerget tasted very similar, with the Clerget getting the nod on a little more complexity.
