Right out of the bottle the nose is a bit reserved but I got great cranberry, logan berry, & cherry flavors on the pallete. After a little while in the decanter there is a distinctive barnyard nose kind of like wet hay, really cool actually. I like this alot a bit more reserved and complex than the 2001 fruit bomb pinots I've been drinking from Cali and for 24 bucks a good QPR.

I had the 2000 at the winery last Summer:

"nose of cherries, light, ready, 86"

Ya know it was pretty cool the nose over a couple of hours went from very peaty back to fruit. not bad. I'll buy a few more and cellar them for a few.

Cristom makes some pretty smokin' wines... I don't like giving numbers but across the board these wines are 90+
