| Tasted w/ Tbird & mrs., Revlis and Board-O at Triomphe in NYC. Thank you to Frued for setting us up w/ a no corkage reservation. Wine was splash decanted by Board-O at home, returned to the bottle and corked. Wine Tasted from Riedel Vinum Bordeaux stems.
Wine was a very dark red-ish purple, not very PInot Noir-like. Nose was fairly alcohol laden with plum and brush. This wine was slightly madierized showing much alcohol, prune and nuttiness. This wine was not to my liking at all. jb Rating 78.

| | I was very disappointed. Tweren't cheap. Parker rated it 94, the highest rated Oregon wine of the vintage. I have one more and will probably open it soon. This one was in the earliest stages of madeirization- no Sherry smell, but the pruney, molasses character was starting to show. | | | |
