cream and cherry flavors, with a hint of cocoa. Quite tart, and a little green tasting. A bit disappointing. Wouldn't recommend

Wow,

I've had this wine 3 times and I had a very different experience. I found it to be vibrant, rich, and fairly compelling. Lots of red and black cherries as well as red and black rasperries with a hint of cinnomon spice. I think I gave it 91 points. I recall thinking this was as it should be for a $32 bottle of Oregon PN.

I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

I would have expected better, I wonder if I had an off bottle.
It definately had the flavor profile I expect out of a Yamhill bottling, but tasted flawed.

We had this bottle at dinner Saturday night. I would agree more with Ormbee's assessment....a bit green and some tartness. We love DS but this was pretty disappointing. Price was pretty good though -- $46 off the list.

I'm with you here Whiner, this is drinking great right out of the gate. Very soft tanins, bright focused nose with a touch of bret. Really soft mouthfeel with a good structure of red fruit, cranberry and earth. A little bit of heat on the finish but overall very good.
