| 2002 Preston, Columbia Valley Chardonnay
Light straw golden color. The nose has aromatic green apple and vanilla. On the palate are tropical fruits, apple, a touch of melon and a touch of ripe citrus. Creamy mouth feel. The fruit continues on to the finish with just the right acidity and oak. This is a ripe well made chardonnay and an excellent value @ $6.29 a bottle (YES only $6.29plus tax). Purchased at the Washington Liquor Control Board, Cascade Park, Vancouver store. 88-89 pts. (really !!!) Best QPR chardonnay I’ve ever encountered.
