2003 Columbia Crest Walter Clore Private Reserve - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (7/20/2008) WIML89+?,PURPLE91
Tasted July 19, 2008.
14.2% alcohol. Opened and splash decanted briefly before serving. Dark garnet color in the glass, vibrant hue throughout. Nose of vanilla, currant, berries and cherries. Flavors of raspberries, red currants and berries. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Nice, easy drinking QPR red from Washington that can be found for under $30.00 a bottle. Recommended on that basis. Drink now with a decant or continue to hold. (89 pts.) |
