Simply
awesome wine. This is the third bottle of this
I have had not counting a bottle I tasted with friends a
couple of years ago. Just keeps getting better each time I have one.
Still needs a decant to release the full potential. If I had any
patience I would wait till at least 2010 to drink these. As it is, I
keep finding a few more to buy and drink...
Give it at least an hour decant.
Bursting with dark
fruits, blackberry, plum and licorice with a delicious spice component
and big, fine grained tannins and a long 60+ second finish. I just
ordered 3 more and I also have a few of the 04 which got the same
rating from Wine Advocate. I hope the 04's are as good as the 03's.
Gotta show some restraint on these and let them cellar for 5
years...like that is gonna happen.
