| | 2003 Columbia Crest Grand Estates Merlot...Tasted December 11, 2006 with lasagna: Popped and poured, deep purple in the glass, regular old berries on the nose, a palate full of blueberries, chasis (or casis), and lots of creme. This is a nice wine for approx. $8 from Costco. Nothing super-special about it but still a great every day drinker...BD89 | | | |

| Had a bottle last night.
I thought it was a very acceptable, nice little wine. Unlike some American red wines which cost $8 a bottle, this wine did not have any noticeable flaws. Just a pleasant, if simple, quaffable wine. I think this is very good QPR. | | | |
