| 2004 Long Shadows Wineries Riesling Poet's Leap - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (8/12/2006) WIML86-87,NOWA,NOWS
Tasted August 12, 2006 at a retail tasting. Served in a Reidel Restaurant Magnum glass. Straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of light diesel notes with not much else showing. Flavors of peach with a little apricot. Light to medium acidity with light to medium body. Drink over the short term. Based on my local retail price of $19.54 I’d say the value here is somewhat acceptable but I’d definitely rather by low level German QbA instead.
