Tasted August 12, 2006 at a retail tasting. Served in a Reidel Restaurant Magnum glass. Straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of light diesel notes with not much else showing. Flavors of peach with a little apricot. Light to medium acidity with light to medium body. Drink over the short term. Based on my local retail price of $19.54 I’d say the value here is somewhat acceptable but I’d definitely rather by low level German QbA instead. (86 pts.) | |
