2003 Owen Roe DuBrul Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - Yakima Valley, Washington
Decanted 3 hr’s. Rich nose of red currant and spice with a dash of powdered chocolate. Big, red currant and plum flavors with some mocha at the core along with a hint of vanilla and oak spice. Balanced with a nice mineral underpinning with smooth, full, and thick tannins that turn slightly chalky at times and a solid, lingering finish. Excellent Washington Cab that should cellar well for years, but can be enjoyed now with 2+ hr’s decant. S92 7/4/2006
