I have to agree with WS 90 point. Very well made wine, pleasure to drink right now: chocolate , currant, not too sweet, some spice notes. This wine reminded me of some right bank Bordeaux; Maybe it is the French oak that was used by the winery. No need for decanting. $16.99 is a good price.

Thank Tman for the heads up. That is a good price. I picked up the 01 Walter Clore Reserve for the same price recently. May have to pick up a few at that price.

BellaDonna, are you sure you did not get CC's regular bottling. It can sell as low as under $8, but I would be surprised if you got the reserve at under $8.

BD... the Grand Estates is not the reserve. It's their 'midlevel' line. The Reserve is their top level, usually retailing in the $25 range.
