| Delille 2001 Harrison Hill Cabernet Sauvignon ($45, Yakima Valley)
When I think of a pretty cabernet from Washington, this is the one wine that comes to mind. Could this be the Spottswoode of Washington State? Aromas of cassis, dark berries and cedar fragrantly eminate from the glass - a detailed, balanced wine on the palate - never a heavy or a rich wine, yet it manages to carry the flavors effortlessly on a slim frame. Before you know it, the bottle is gone! A pleasure to drink, and a great complement to NY strip steaks and lobster tails. | | | |
