| Wife's visiting relatives, so put the kids to bed and opened this with a movie.
Decanted for 1 1/2 hours. Firm tannins, but this improved nicely from opening. Sweet cedar nose. Tastes of dried currents and chocolate with a cinammon toast medium-length finish. Very enjoyable and my first experience with Woodward Canyon. For the price (I paid around $35), it is a very good bargain. 92-93 pts.
As a side note, for an "artist series", it was a pretty ho-hum label. I like pencil sketches, but this one showed pretty washed out. | | | |
