This is a cab-merlot blend. Very dark ruby color. Very nice nose of black cherry, cassis with just a touch of mint. On the palate the rich cherry and blackberry flavors come though quite nicely. There's also a touch of white pepper in there somewhere. The finish echoes ripe black fruits and ultra smooth tannins. I got this one at Cost-co in Portland , Oregon @ $11.99 I consider this to be a real bargain. Very nice wine that's drinkable right now. 89 solid points.
