| | Somewhat muted aromas of leather, spice, and earth take coaxing to get to emerge, while the palate is a bit thin yet very tannic. Finish a tad ‘hot’ and oaky, perhaps this wine will benefit from some rest? 86 points, drink 2006-? | | | |
