Dark ruby in color, with light to moderate bricking, but the nose is acerbic and oxidative. Surprisingly the palate is better than the nose would imply, with some fruit still present, but overall this wine was a gone for me. I know some folks really liked this for the very characteristics that turn me off, but I would love to try another bottle of the same vintage – I suspect this one was flawed. Not rated.
