None of these are wines that I serve with any intention of impressing anyone.... here's my current list of drinkers. I don't think any are over $15 (save for the Della Torre).

Echelon Syrah
Columbia Crest Cab
Hogue Genesis Cab
Ch Puygueraud
Ch Brisson
Ch Parenchere
Heller/Durney Chachagua Cab
Monte Antico Toscana
Galante Rancho Galante Cab
Allegrini Pallazzo Della Torre

Here's my "all by myself" cheap cheap drinkers: All under $8 at your best discount source.

Pepperwood Grove Syrah, Pinot, and Cab Franc........ $4.99 at Cost Plus when you can catch it. I've tasted worse for 10x as much.
Bogle Petite Sirah
Vina Alarba Calatayud - $5.... a bargain
Vina Alarba Old Vines Grenache - pay $3 more than the Calatayud and you get more structure.
Ravenswood VB - always the same.
Rosemont Cab/Shiaz - a cherry/pepper bomb.

Some recent red wines well under $20 that I would rate B+

Monte Antico, Empson Selection, Toscana
Ceregio, Fattoria Zerbina, Emilia Romagna
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, La Valentina
Mannucci Droandi Chianti
Valle dell'Acate, Il Moro Nero d'Avola, Sicilia
Toscolo Chianti
Torre Quarto Nero di Troia, Puglia
Novaia Valpolicella Classico, Veneto
Tusco Chianti, Rosetti (North Berkeley selection)

Welcome aboard, Craig! Everyone who wants to speak up and "add their two cents" is welcome here.

I always enjoy seeing those North Berkeley Imports. Would you believe that they are owned and run by a person from Memphis, Tennessee (decidedly east of North Berkeley!).

Cheers, y'all
