There's a 2500 acre wildfire blazing in the mountains. It's out of control and being fanned by 40MPH winds.

i was a little bit worried about this since this is just over the hill form gilroy & i was out of town when it broke out.  it appears that the fog this morning & the lack of wind today should help get this contained.

Yes the lack of wind is helping. The fire is now at 3100 acres, with 20% containment.
Also rain is forecast for Saturday.
