An interesting read.
 
Embedded tracers are being added to labels to ensure authenticity.  But one question for anyone who knows.  How much counterfeiting is being done by putting "fake" labels on bottles of plonk, as opposed to putting plonk into actual bottles, and then re-corking and foiling?  Seems like the new technology addresses only the former.  But if the latter is a widespread problem, the solutions suggested in the article will not help.
