Now Domaine Baumard Quarts de Chaume if for no other reason that it lasts so very long and is at its best with age.

Here's to the corkscrew - a useful key to unlock the storehouse of wit, the treasury of laughter, the front door of fellowship, and the gate of pleasant folly.

Now it is Domaine Baumard Quarts de Chaume if only because it last so long and is best with considerable age.

I wish I had a lot more of the '06 Siduri Sonoma County than I do.

N.V. Krug Champagne Grande Cuvée - I decided to lock in a bunch since the $$$ just keep increasing.

2006 Peay Vineyards Chardonnay Estate. I'm the proud owner of 23 bottles.

Sorry dude but you do have to buy some wine if ever plan on actually drinking wine.

23 bottles of a single vintage of California Chardonnay??  This is not the cool, dispassionate WIML that I emulate.  Sorry.  Winetex is my new mentor.  I like NV Krug.

I am still working through the 6 bottles of '03 Ramey Hyde Chardonnay that I purchased during Vinocellar's last group hug on a Chardonnay.  Good, but I could have done just as well with 2 bottles.

I bought a bunch of Krug as well. Does that help any?

No.  You are dead to me.  You were at your zenith when you were contemplating going a year without buying wine.

Hmmm.  Maybe.  But you'd need to stop buying right now for 10 years (no more than 1 case of keepers) to catch up.
