In a past life, I worked for a comapny that owned a wine and spirits distributor. The sale of spirts actually went up in difficult economic times. It was a almost a perfect 1:1 correlation.

Yes, I was joking.  But then again, if I had purchased the 1982 Chateau Mouton-Routhchild Pauillac when released, it would have cost about $38.  Now it is about $1800.Â
