I need you all to give me your best choice that is (And this is important) Relatively easy to find in any quality wine store the following

Best wine under $10
under $25
under $40
under $75

These should be The best QPR's in the category. Duplicates of previouse posts are incouraged to validate choices.

This will be put to good use in a project that I am currently working on.

OK,
Without any thought whatsoever, here's a shot.

Under $10 - Columbia Crest Great Estates Chard 00
Under $25 - Gallo of Sonoma Barrelli Creek Cab 97
Under $40 - Whitehall Lane Cab 99
Under $75 - Verite ja Joie (or Verite la Muse) 99

No reasons. Just gut feeling.

added note,
If you don't have a pick in every category that's fine, just make the picks you're comfortable with.

1. Onix Priorato virtually any vintage $9
2. Melville Pinot Noir 2001 $20
3. Ojai Thompson Vineyard Syrah 2000 $40
4. If you are spending $75 or more a bottle then QPR is essentially irrelevant.

Without regard to variety or region this is pretty meaningless, but here goes:

Under $10: Borsao Tres Picos
Under $25: 1999 Hanna Cab
Under $40: Spring Valley Uriah or any Cadence
under $75: Gaillard Cote Rotie (any of them)
2008: the end of an error

The range includes all bottles between $40 to $75. Some of the Brunello's you pointed we towards fit here, and yet it is notorious for California - I believe you would pick Viader as a poor selection.

I agree on over $75 these are for Collectors and Novelties. (But I still Like to get the best deal that I can)

Thanks for the input.

Another problem with $75 is that almost all of the wines I would suggest (like the 97 Ciacci or Lamborghini (basically any vintage)) is availability. For $75, I get a bottle of Marcassin bought grape wine after all.
