| I know that most of you are spread out on the West Coast and mid-Atlantic. There's not too many people on this board down here in the Deep South, but I just though I might ask in case some of ya'll are going to take a trip or are going to be in town.
The New Orleans Wine and Food Expo is going to be from May 24 through May 28th this year. The Grand Tastings are going to be on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th.
Anyhow, this will be my 5th NOWFE. I absolutely have a blast every time I attend. It is always an excellent event with fun seminars and vintner's dinners and they always have great food at the Grand Tastings. Now, I'm sure the NOWFE doesn't compare to some of the other wine events around the country when it comes to wine selection and prestige, but I seriously doubt it can be beat in the food department.
So, the Vintner's Dinners are on Wednesday, the 24th and the seminars are spread out between then and Saturday.

Right now I'm having trouble deciding, but I'll definitely be attending either the Moet & Chandon / Veuve Clicquot Vintner's dinner at the Bourbon House, the Mondavi/Frescobaldi dinner at Broussard's, or the Robert Keenan/Century Oak dinner at Tommy's.
As far as seminars go, I'll for sure be at the small grower Champagne seminar and the Spanish wines seminar. I might also be at the Oregon Pinot seminar and the wines of Thomas Jefferson seminars, as well. I'll definitely be at both Grand Tastings and the Auction. So, if any of you are going to be there, drop me a line and let me know which events you will be attending. I'll definitely try to get together with you. It would be great to meet up with some of the people from this board and share in this really fun experience. Have any of you attending the NOWFE previously?
