2002 L'Aventure Cote-a-Cote - I'm beginning to think L'Aventure wines are better drunk quite young. Still good, but not as good as I remember it.

randy, i had a bottle of the keefer ranch pinot about a month ago & really, really liked it.  as a matter of fact, it has been tough not to open 1 of the remaining 3.

2 x 2006 Martín Códax Albariño Rías Baixas - for the price, loved it. Again, drinking at Cervecería Catalana, so that has to be worth 10 points right there :-D

2005 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet (outstanding quality for a villages)
2001 Gruet Pinot Noir Cuvee Gilbert Gruet (used to be an interesting curiosity from New Mexico.  Now its only suitable for using as the base for pinot noir essence)
2002 Dry River Pinot Noir (Last April a few bottles of this New Zealand cult were spectacular.  Unfortunately this bottle was decidedly off - I poured it straight into the composter.  I have a few bottles left from the original case so hopefully this is an anomaly.)
2006 Bressler Pinot Noir (quite fine (the bottle disappeared quick) and matched well with noisettes of goat from Marin Sun Farms.  Fruit tends toward the darker end of the spectrum.  Interestingly the bottle was labeled as coming from Angwin.)

1990 Frog's Leap Zinfandel - Took a couple of minutes to open up, but was very nice once it got going.
2006 Stevenson-Barrie Pinot Noir "Freedom Hill"
2005 Eyrie Pinot Noir - Superb Pinot. Must stop up the street and pick some up.

Decided to kill a singleton I found in the cellar tonight: 1994 Plumpjack Cabernet, surprisingly, still going strong.  Interestingly, the label claimed 12.5% alcohol - when is the last time you saw that from a "higher-end" CA CS?

NV Egly-Ouriet - Brut Vendissement Prolonge (great champagne - ordered a case for the cellar)
2002 Kracher #2 Chardonnay Trockenbearnauslese
2005 Bryant Family Cabernet Sauvignon (not a Helen Turley Bryant (no blueberries and cream coupled with Indian spices) but nonetheless Parker seriously underrated this wine)
1971 Camile-Giroud Charmes-Chambertin
