2001 Brokenwood Shiraz, Wade Block 2, McLaren Vale - very nice sweet core, just barely starting to show some secondary characteristics, moderate tannins, really opened up with a little air. This is coming along nicely, but I think I'll let my remaining bottles rest for a couple more years.

Did you pick these up from K&L?  I've got a buddy at work from Australia that raves about this stuff and was picking up several cases with the prices going down to $17 a bottle...

Drew, honestly I don't recall where I got these, but they were not purchased recently. I've had them in the cellar for several years, and I paid $22 each. I seem to recall this was some sort of deal with Winetex?

Nope, I think that deal was Kay Brothers Block 6.
