I was hoping on nothing. But then the Switchback Magnum mailer hits.... Budget is blown, but can't pass this up. Sure wish I could afford all that I'm offered!

I am on the purchasing wagon. Remodeling in the house has sucked up excess funds, and my cellar is filled with boxes. I'm not joking, I really do buy way too much wine, I must learn from the master WIML. I refuse to purchase anything more until June at the very earliest.

Hey Winetex, check out this Champagne deal. Who says you can't find a good deal on Champagne in Texas every now and again?

4 x 750ml @ $55.00 2000 Comte Audoin de Dampierre Champagne Family Reserve (Helluva Deal!)
3 x 750ml @ $38.24 2005 Castello della Sala (Antinori) Cervaro della Sala Umbria IGT (Reload, drinking them too quick)
1 x 750ml @ $22.94 2006 M. Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers (Taster, I'll be buying more)
1 x 750ml @ $18.69 2005 Anglim Viognier Fralich Vineyard (Taster)

Will do. I plan on popping one soon. Maybe even this afternoon to make a decision on whether to buy even more.

BTW, the owner told me this was a blow out because Dampierre will not be exporting this particular bottle to the U.S. after the 2000 vintage.
