| $30 13.6% Received this as a gift, so the price is a guestimate from the last time I saw this wine at the shop. Enjoyed with grilled, prime tenderloin.
This is a medium to full bodied wine, very clean, dark ruby in appearance, showing thin legs. Strong aromas and flavors of cassis and cherries. A fruit forward wine with flavors of zingy cherry, currants and plum. Oak is present but not overwhelming by any means. Moderately lengthy finish with hints of licorice. Excellent acidity, balance and firm tannins make me believe this wine will drink well for at least 5-7 years, minimum. Overall, an excellent wine. 91points. | | | |
