| there's a bit of controversy about this one pending from the Wine Syndicate tasting, but here's my take.
young wine needs plenty of time, however, after being open for a few hours (at a dinner with decanting, so it's hard to say exactly what) it was poured to glasses, my tasting was in lenox tuscany Bordeaux glasses.
when first tasted, didn't do too much for me. Unimpressed, I left it in the glass and finished up the insignia (which was impressive as always) when I came back to the B&H, holy cow. huge nose with lush blueberry and coffee, dark fruit in the mouth and a lingering silky finish.
i loved it and made it my wine of the night with a 95 pt score. | | | |
