| | 85% Sangiovese, 15% Syrah. 14.3% Alcohol. $18.00 at the winery. Opened and served without decanting in Spiegelau Bordeaux style glasses. Clear garnet color in the glass. Aromas of mint, tobacco, pepper and black cherry. Earthy flavor of cherry with a hint of strawberry. Smooth tannins over a nice, balanced frame. 89 points. Drink 2002 through 2005 | |
