| | Here's an uncommon one. Paul Hobbs effort in Argentina. I love all of Paul Hobbs CA wine, it is just getting out of my price range. This wine is a great change of pace. Great, inviting nose. Dark fruit with gobs of plum, cassis, currant and blackberries. Pretty thick, concentrated but silky smooth. A bit of mocha on the long finish. Well integrated, soild tannins of toast oak. A very classy wine IMO. 90 pts. If you like this one, try his Cobos as well. | | | |
