We opened this wine but did not decant.  There was enough sediment to tell me that decanting would have helped.  The nose is intially leather and wood.  After about an hour, the leather and wood are gone and you get black fruits and vanilla.  The wine has a deep red color and is opaque.  The flavors are rich and vibrant black fruit.  Our last bottle but we think it is still young.  It is in a nice place anc an be drunk now.

Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.
