Last night with grilled tuna steaks in a citrus-soy sauce.

Beautiful nose of ripe but not overripe cherries and berries with a hint of damp soil character. Just a gorgeous nose. The palate had the same except the cherry profile wasn't quite as ripe but not green either. This wine had a nice balance of fruit and acidity, a full midpalate with a 30 second finish. I've been drinking this wine since release; I beleive 2004 or 2005; and have loved them. The nose had a medicinal quality to it upon release that has since faded for the better. After 2 hours in the glass the wine started to lose some of the fruit so I'll drink my remaining bottle out of a case within the next year or so. Great wine that most would have a hard time picking out of a mature burgundy lineup. Max 94+.
