Popped and poured.  Medium to medium light ruby hue, quite pretty in glass.  Nice aromas of red fruits, spices (sandalwood?) plus notions of forest floor.  Medium to full bodied, with jammy fruit taking center stage with cinnamon and other spices continuing through on the finish.  Well balanced acidity and tannins.  Just enough complexity to keep it interesting through the evening.
