| 1997 Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Reserve - USA, California, Napa Valley (2/17/2008)
Pulled from the cellar and uncorked but didn't decant, as I allowed the wine to come to temperature. Started drinking about 30 mins after opening, and while still a bit too cool, the wine was excellent at this point, with tons of dark fruit and a faint tannic base. While a bit thin, a great selection. Within an hour the fruit was fading quickly. I'd recm'd bringing to temp - then opening - and drinking wtihin 60-90 mins to avoid disappointment.
