| | Very light in color like cranberry juice or pomegranate with a moderate nose of black cherry, plum with a decent dose of oak showing with cinnamon, nutmeg and some vanillin. Medium body, moderate complexity, high acidity and low tannin. Palate was redolent of plum, black cherry and black raspberry with more oak influence. Balanced. 88pts. | | | |

| Jason,
Thanks for posting the note on this one. I've seen some very good notes on this and I'm also a big fan of Windy Oaks, also a Santa Cruz mtn wine. I've been debating if I should pick some up. Is this a wine that will improve over time or do you think it will be an early drinker?
Happy New Year!!

| | It had the structure for 6-8 years easily. After that I would be guessing. | | | |

| | Thanks! Have you tried any of the Windy Oaks Pinots? If so how do they compare? | | | |
