  • 1999 Terra Valentine Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District (12/17/2007)
    Superb Cab drinking near its peak. Just a bit of bricking around the edges. Black currant, pencil lead, wood smoke, stewed cherries, double espresso with chocolate. I had several of these and drank the others too soon. This wine is vibrant and will probably continue developing wonderful nuances, but it's certainly ready to go now after decanting for an hour. The type of wine that sends you shopping. (93 pts.)

LOL!  My dedication to my fellow wine enthusiasts knows no bounds.

Also, I'm working on the massive task of going through 15 or so years of paper files, digitizing what I need and getting rid of the rest.  I could build another bedroom out of banker's boxes right now.
