  Dark and brooding character with cassis syrup, mint, strong wood smoke. Extracted and primary it displays a slight sweet character without being cloy. Right now it's at the hedonistic stage where many really enjoy some Napa Cabs, so if that's how you like them, drink now as I felt that this wine was just starting to mature. Otherwise, hope that the very subtle tannins -- and obvious good balance -- will bring an even richer experience in 3+ years. That's what I plan to do. (92 pts.)
